Case Study: Providing Individual Audio Feedback

Man listening to a can on a string phoneIn this case study, a 16-strong teaching team on a level 4 nursing module provide a spoken word audio recording for each individual student as assignment feedback. Recordings were created with easy to use digital tools available to all SHU staff, uploaded to the module’s Blackboard site and released to students. Students were able to listen to and review feedback in context alongside their original submissions as well as download and store for future access. This approach was found to increase students’ engagement and satisfaction with their feedback.

You can read more about this approach in the two-page case study entitled: Providing Individual Audio Feedback
