Recently we’ve had a few queries from staff who noticed that some of their students are no longer showing up in the Grade Centre, and actually the Blackboard site as a whole.  This will particularly happen in final year modules.  When students have completed their studies at the university, they are marked as completed in the SI (student information) system.  This is where Blackboard draws its information about which students to enrol, so those students are no longer marked as taking that module and are removed from the module site.  Students who have not yet finished, such as those referred or deferred in one of their modules, will continue to show up until they have completed their studies.

In the case of an appeal, we can still recover any work submitted online by the completed students.
