Reflection by Brian

In this case study, a postgraduate Education course tutor wanted to be able to view and comment on student reflective journals throughout the year to encourage better reflective practice among her students.  To accomplish this, the tutor set up private blogs which only each student and the tutor could access. Students reflected on their learning throughout the year, including during placement periods.  The blogs were an effective tool to support the students’ development as professionals through reflective learning.

You can read more about this approach in the two-page case study entitled: Supporting Reflective Learning through Private Blogging
