SITS:Vision (SITS) is being upgraded

Please be aware that there will be a 3 day period of SITS Online unavailability due to an upgrade taking place between Friday 13th and Sunday 15th April. Further information from the SITS Help team is below including contact details. The upgrade will also affect students access to My Student Record; they have been notified of this by e-mail.

 

SITS:Vision (SITS) is being upgraded

A reminder that the SITS:Vision (SITS) system is due to be upgraded as part of the annual upgrade cycle from Friday 13th April to Sunday 15th April (inclusive). During this period the SITS system including SITS Online and My Student Record (MSR) will not be available to staff or students while the upgrade to 9.5.0 takes place, we expect the system to be available again by noon on Monday 16th April (if it’s earlier we will let users know).

Students have already received early notification by email as part of the Student Personal Details Check process and messages will be displayed on the SITS Online/MSR/shuspace login pages and University TV screens/screensavers, prior to and during the upgrade. The Registry Services SITS Help team who provide support for student systems and process related enquiries will use the SITS System Status page on the Registry Services SharePoint site to keep staff users informed of progress during the upgrade.
