Mind control, cabbages, poo smells and more at Explore – SHU Atrium, Saturday, 17th March, 12-4pm

On Saturday 17th March SHU welcomes families and the general public to an afternoon of events and activities that will give a hands-on experience of the work carried out in our science and engineering departments. A wide range of stands will be open on the day providing an insight into a variety of fascinating and unusual topics in the world of science. These include, amongst others: ‘Cabbage Juice Lab’, ‘Microbes make your poo smell, but what else are they doing?’,  and ‘Card Tricks in Computing’.
