The Enhancing Student and Curriculum Management Programme are pleased to announce the launch of the enhanced Curriculum View for staff.
Since the initial launch of the Curriculum View back in March 2016, the team have worked with various colleagues across the University to gather feedback and identify additional information to be held is SITS and which can be made available via the Curriculum View.
In addition to the standard module, course and student information that was previously available, the main changes and features that staff can now benefit from are :
Module Information
- Module delivery status – this informs whether a module is running or not in any specific academic year
- Assessment information – the assessment (and reassessment) name, due date/time, item type and sub-task information
- Learning contract adjustments – a module overview of all learning contract adjustments (by category) based on the students’ identified needs
- Approved exemption details – this informs of any exemptions that have been approved for the module
Course Information
- Professional Services staff information – details of the Student Support Officer, Senior Administrator and Student Administrator are available by course and level
- Approved exemption details – this informs of any exemptions that have been approved for the course
- Professional Body (PSRB) accreditation – where PSRB accreditation is held, this gives the accrediting body details, expiry and review dates
Student View
In the next few weeks, the first version of the ‘Student View’ will be launched to complement the Curriculum View. The Student View will be for academic and professional services staff use only (students will continue to see their current view) and will provide individual curriculum and academic achievement information for students, including course enrolments, award classifications and module profile (including module results). More information will follow regarding a launch date and the features of the Student View in the near future.
To access the Curriculum View, from the staff intranet, login to SITS Online and select Curriculum View. A leaflet and screencasts are also available showing some of the features available.
