Absence recording – drop-in sessions

Over the summer we have launched a new process to replace the SHU21 forms. From 1 August 2017 the current SHU21 absence process ceased, and has been replaced with new functions in the CorePortal. You can find user guides and FAQ’s on our intranet pages.

If you are a Line Manager you will have received detailed information through the HR Brief about how to access the new functions in Manager Portal for recording sickness absences.

If you would like to see a demonstration of the new sickness absence screen, or have any questions about it, we are holding drop-in sessions in October on the following dates:

  • 9th October
  • 24th October
  • 27th October

If you would like to attend please could you register your interest by booking a place via your employee portal, as the running of these sessions will be subject to minimum numbers. Search for the course title ‘Absence Recording Drop In Session’.

Colleagues from Finance and HR will be available at these sessions if you want to ask any questions about the other functions that are available in the Core Portal including expenses, recruitment, manager requests and timesheets.
