Following the successful installation of the Corin Mellor link bridge, this Sunday (11 October) sees the next key milestone in the Charles Street project- the removal of the tower crane.
In order for the crane to be removed, Arundel Gate will be closed between Furnival Gate and Charles Street on Sunday 11 October from 6am until approximately 6pm.
Balfour Beatty have liaised with Sheffield City Council regarding the timing of this.
This activity is weather-dependent; a further update will be provided on the intranet homepage next week if the crane removal cannot be completed on 11 October.
