Participants required for a study on stress

Studies show that almost 50% of UK academics have or are considering changing profession mainly due to stress.

Stress can wreak havoc with our minds and bodies and has been linked to numerous physical and emotional disorders.  It impacts our moods, emotions, immune system, hormones and is linked to heart disease, hypertension and depression among other conditions, and thus affects our lives and the lives of those around us.

There are ways to manage stress and the aim of this study is to see which brief stress techniques work best and for whom.

If you are an academic, currently employed, over 18 and have a good knowledge of the English language, please take a look at this website https://shusls.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_6nbotv3JzRLbifz or email me at stressacademic@gmail.com for further information.

This study is part of an MSc. Health Psychology qualification at Sheffield Hallam University and has been approved by the Sheffield Hallam Ethics Board.

You participation would really be appreciated and could result in better knowledge of brief ways to manage stress.
