Remembrance Day falls on Monday 11 November during the first day of Graduation ceremonies at the City Hall where a two-minute silence will be observed.
Staff are welcome to attend the Multifaith centre on Owen Level 2, City Campus at that time which will be open for quiet reflection, but there will be no organised events this year at either campus. This is because the catholic chaplaincy at Collegiate is no longer open and the University chaplain is attending graduation at that time with families accepting posthumous awards.
Staff are free to observe the silence at 11 where and how they see fit.
