A highly-successful Sheffield businessman, who was awarded an honorary degree by the University last year for breaking America, is coming home to tell the tale of his success.
Sir George Buckley is delivering the Sheffield Management Lecture next week – a key annual event in the regional business calendar, organised by Sheffield Hallam University and University of Sheffield. He will talk about his transatlantic career which has taken him from his roots in Pitsmoor, Sheffield to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The Sheffield Management Lecture takes place on Wednesday 12 June, 6.30pm arrival for a 7pm start, at the Pennine Lecture Theatre, City Campus. Tickets are free but need to be booked online in advance. Visit www.shu.ac.uk/events for more information.
