This event is designed to help Early Career Research staff prepare applications for internal schemes under the Creating Knowledge Implementation Plan (CKIP) Research Investment Prospectus https://blogs.shu.ac.uk/creating/internalfunding/ The session will help attendees find out more about the opportunities, how to find potential collaborators and understand what the panel will be looking for. Attendees are encouraged to bring with them a draft of their application or initial plans for peer feedback.
- Introducing the CKIP Research Investment Prospectus 2018-19 and collaborative PhD scholarships– opportunities, processes and what the panels will be looking for
- Small group discussion on ideas and applications with a focus on providing evidence against the criteria – supported by staff from the Research and Innovation Office
- How to find research collaborators and develop a fundable proposal – tips and guidance from experienced researchers
