There have recently been some issues raised around students using the Google Chrome browser when accessing Blackboard at home.  Chrome is not installed on campus machines.

The most common problem when using Chrome occurs when submitting assignments on Blackboard.  If students try to submit a file using Chrome, they will receive a message that their file type is invalid and will be unable to submit their work.  If a student receives this message, they should try to resubmit the file using Internet Explorer or Firefox instead.

We recommend advising students to use Internet Explorer or Firefox when accessing Blackboard.
