On December 3rd -5th, the Yorkshire & Humber JISC Regional Support Centre will be hosting a free online conference. The conference covers hot topics in e-learning and this year the themes is ‘MOOCs, Badges and Open Educational Resources’. There are several presentations each day and you can sign up for as many or few as you like.
Sheffield Hallam will be represented by Anna Gruszczynska, who will be presenting ‘Lessons learnt from the ACTOER’, which covers the accessibility issues of Open Educational Resources, and Ian Glover, who will be running a workshop to get people thinking about how badges might be used in their context and encouraging people to follow along while he creates and shares some badges.
