Mobile Innovations and the Moveable Feast cakes delivered!

We’d like to thank all the participants in the mobile innovations project who have provided us with case studies on their experiences and shared their practice across the university, through conference presentations, posters and faculty events. If you missed these events, you can check out some scenarios for mobile learning, and see some of the resources on the blog.

As is to be expected, some innovations are more widely applicable than others.  So for example, whilst we can recommend that all staff could use Google Forms to support polls for in-class engagement, some approaches will only be suitable for particular contexts (e.g. small numbers of professional students studying in distance modes). Others have yielded important insights that we will pass back to Blackboard to improve the learning platform.  We’ll make the case studies available over the coming months as appropriate.

As promised, all contributing participants were offered cakes made by members of the versatile Technology Enhanced Learning team (Holly, Zoe, and Susannah).  Here are photos of some of the cakes being delivered to the participants as a thank you for the time they spent sharing their practice.
