From today, staff have access to the Blackboard 9 Site Development System. This separate Blackboard 9 system is for developing your blank template 2010/11 sites and becoming familiar with Blackboard 9 before the upgrade of the live system on 2 July. The Blackboard 9 Site Development System will be available until 25 June.
You can access the system directly at http://blackboard9.shu.ac.uk or via a link at the top of the My SHU page when you log into shuspace.
To support you with using the Blackboard 9 Site Development System, we have:
- a new Frequently Asked Questions section on working inside the Site Development System.
- resources to help you prepare your sites for 2010/11 and learn to use Blackboard 9 (inside the Bb-support tab in the Site Development System)

Shortly there will be an email and post detailing new Blackboard 9 focussed ‘Refreshing e-learning’ sessions open to all staff, available from April-July. There will also be some Faculty and subject-based opportunities around understanding Blackboard 9. Please ask your Faculty e-learning contact for details in your Faculty.
