On July 29th 2014 the previous Staff Remote Desktop service that was accessed via SGD was replaced with a new service that is accessed via vWorkspace.

Below is a graph comparing the usage of the two services for the same weeks in 2013 and 2014, beginning in the first week in August. Usage is measured by the number of logins to the service each week.
