Introduction
In preparing for their placement work experience students often need more support with the digital application of tools they’ll be using in their placement workplace or with their live project and enterprise residency. Here we providedlearning activities that you can use within your H.S.E level 5 module to help students.

Learning Activities
- Communication – Zoom – Using Zoom for professional communication.
- Group Work – Students will gain an understanding of how to convey a message to a designated audience using a range of technologies to augment their experience.
- Online Marketing – Students gain an understanding of digital marketing, teamwork and presentation skills. Planning, organisation and management, presentation skills, Leading, digital marketing concepts, achievable output, working under a brief and time constraints.
- Project Management – Trello – Using Trello to manage or organise a project.
- Research, Evaluation and Inquiry-Based Learning – Test ability to interrogate and question information in the public domain, interpret a brief exercise critical analysis and evaluate the use of information and resourcefulness.
- Research, Evaluation and Inquiry-Based Learning – Test ability to plan and design independently test scholarly skills and allow an opportunity to exercise critical analysis and evaluate the use of information.
- Role Play – It enhances the students’ communication skills with a focus on listening skills in a safe environment. Students gain experience of developing their listening skills, l and how to apply a technique for dealing with work-based learning issues and counselling.
- Simulation – Students will gain an understanding of how to process data, manipulate spreadsheets and present the data in a meaningful way. The use of functions and formulas will increase as the task gets more complex.
