Health Technical Resources Desk (F306) is open Mon-Thu 0830-1700, Fri 0830-1630. There may be ad-hoc times that we need to close for 10-15 minutes to help sort out a troublesome patient. Clinical Simulation Technical Team

The Technical Operations, Resources and Services Clinical Simulation team support teaching, learning and assessment in the College of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences. The technical team is based across both Robert Winston Building and Heart of the Campus (Collegiate Wing), which host our main Simulated Healthcare Facilities (SHF).

The SHF provide a safe, controlled and supportive environment in which students can study and practice before entering the healthcare world. Areas are designed to replicate specific healthcare settings allowing students to gain valuable hands-on experience and to develop skills and knowledge through simulated exercises.

The Clinical Simulation Technical Operations, Resources and Services team provides support for the Nursing and Midwifery, Allied Health Professionals and Social Work and Social Care departments. Our aim is to enhance the student learning experience through high quality support services. This could be supporting session delivery; creating new simulated learning resources; or creating opportunities for students to practice their skills.
