As an on-going improvement of our graduation services, we are refreshing the website! Hopefully, this will mean that you’ll be able to easily find everything you need to know about your graduation day, how to book your tickets/gowns and loads of other helpful information.
We’ve drawn up plans about what we think would be great to have on there, but if you have any suggestions on what information you’d find useful we’d love to hear them – just fill in the comments box at the bottom of this post.
When we get a test website up and running we’re hoping that some final year students will come and test it for us. If you’re interested in doing this, please just email the graduation office on graduation@shu.ac.uk. We won’t be doing this until March/April time – but if please don’t be afraid to offer out any interest.
For now, we wish you the best of luck in your last few months and hope to see you in November.

It’s been a quiet couple of weeks back here at the Graduation Office, we hope you had some rest over Christmas before the hard work begins again this term.
We’ve had a couple of questions about Graduation dates so to clear up any confusion…
Graduation will take place between 12-23 November 2018 , so if you would like to attend make sure you don’t book any holidays between these two weeks!
As for specific ceremony dates for your course, we don’t have these yet unfortunately. We’ll probably receive these in the summer time so make sure you keep an eye out for any emails, on My Student Record and on the Graduation website.
Good luck to anyone doing exams at the moment & we can’t wait to see you in November!

Hi everyone,
I’m Beth, I’m a Graduate Intern in the Events Team at Sheffield Hallam and I will be looking after the blog this year.
We haven’t got a lot to share with you all yet, but we are currently working on a new Graduation website to make finding information about your Graduation a lot easier. You’ll receive an email from us in the New Year about what you need to do and when.
In the meantime, have a lovely Christmas break and take some time to relax before the new term starts in January – I’m sure you’ll need it!
