From Monday 19th March we are starting to undertake surveys in the Atrium as part of the feasibility study for replacing the roof. The surveyors will be on site for 7 days and will be using a laser scanner.
The laser scanner is class 1 and poses no risk to people, even if they looked directly into the laser, therefore it is safe to use in public spaces.
There will be a maximum of 3 surveyors on site and they have relevant risk and method statements in place.
They will also require access to the roof of Owen, Norfolk, Harmer, Surrey and Howard buildings.
