Transforming Lives update sessions – tickets for all staff

All staff received the below invitation via email on Thurs 31st May

This is your invitation to a Transforming Lives strategy session in June. The sessions give all staff the opportunity to hear updates directly from the project leads on the strategy implementation plan happening every day at Hallam. There will also be the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

The following sessions are now live and tickets can be booked here:

  • Monday 11 June (11.30am-12.30pm), Charles St-12.0.06 (City)
  • Wednesday 13 June (11.30am-12.30pm), Main Hall-99 Herbert Wing 1 (Collegiate)

Speakers:

  • Kevin Kerrigan (Pro Vice-Chancellor for Enterprise & SBS) – will present on Enterprise and Innovation at SHU as part of the strategic pillar, Leading Locally and Engaging Globally.
  • Dr Eddy Verbaan (Head of Library Research Support)– will be providing an insight to Elements, the new way to deposit academic publications from October 2018. This session will be useful for both academics and professional services colleagues who support in this area.
  • Tom Russell (Head of Strategic Planning & Intelligence) and Liz Smart (Principal Lecturer in Law) – will be presenting an overview of Subject TEF and our performance in the pilot metrics.
