In recent years, the Government has introduced new ways to help parents with childcare costs. This has included the introduction of Tax-Free Childcare and closure of Childcare Vouchers, for new joiners from April 2018 (if you already have a childcare voucher account, you can continue to pay into this as normal).
If you haven’t already done so we would recommend that parents review the information available on the Childcare Choices website. These two particular schemes cannot be used at the same time so if, after reviewing all of the information available, you believe that Childcare Vouchers will be most beneficial to you and your childcare needs, you can still join the scheme before 5 April 2018.
Applications for Tax-Free Childcare can be made at any time.
