Job title: Researcher Development Coordinator
Salary: £22,214 to £25,728 dependent on experience
Based in the Research and Innovation Office, you will provide key administrative and operational support to the University’s development activities for research staff and students. You will play an active role in the planning of workshops and events, as well as providing hands-on support on the day.
You will contribute to the University’s researcher community through writing informative and engaging content for social media and online platforms. You will also support ongoing improvements to researcher development activities, manage the event booking process, and provide general administrative support to the team.
You will work with a range of people across the University and must have excellent communication skills with the ability to form good working relationships. You will be proactive, with the ability to take responsibility for an area of work, and have excellent planning and organisational skills. You will have experience of administrative work and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
An understanding of research and researcher development in the higher education sector would be an advantage, but is not essential.
