The University will be entering Clearing in order to finalise our undergraduate recruitment for 2017/18.
Applicants receive their A level results on Thursday 17th August, and our call centre opens from 6.30am. We will also be open for visits from applicants who want to secure a place at Hallam.
You will be aware how important this period is in helping the University meet ambitious recruitment targets. As usual, extensive arrangements have been made to increase the number of phone lines available to enquirers, and the largest ever number of academic and administrative colleagues from across the University will be working hard to provide an excellent online, telephone and face-to-face experience for our prospective students. Please encourage anyone you know thinking about starting University to contact us to discuss their options.
Clearing brings significantly increased pressure on our systems, and increased numbers of visitors to the City Campus from early Thursday morning onwards.

You can also help to ease pressure on the university systems: internal calls will be answered as soon as possible, but external calls will take priority, so your patience will be appreciated. DTS will be prioritising Clearing on Thursday.
If you meet potential student visitors on campus who want face-to-face advice please direct them to Admissions Reception on Level 4 of the Surrey Building.
