Participants needed: Can exercise help you think?

This study aims to recruit people aged 55 and over. It is part of a masters dissertation project focusing on moderate intensity exercise, cognition in younger people who have experienced concussion, and cognition in older people.

Research suggests that exercise can help cognition in older people, who may start to have difficulty in memory or attention. Moderate-intensity exercise has been shown to improve cognition over time.

Participation in this study requires you to come to attend sessions at Collegiate Campus three times a week for six weeks. There will be some tasks to take part in during the first session followed by 20 minutes on an exercise bike at 65%-75% of your maximum heart rate.

Pre-screening will take place to make sure that you’re eligible to take part.
