A new HEA Principal Fellow for our University

Congratulations to Brian Irwin, Head of Digital Capability in Learning Enhancement and Academic Development, who has recently been awarded Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA). Brian has achieved PFHEA through the university’s HEA accredited TALENT professional development scheme, which supports staff to achieve all levels of HEA fellowship.

The criteria for PFHEA are extremely stringent and achieving this level of fellowship is an outstanding achievement. Brian joins Dr Christine O’Leary, Prof Jacqueline Stevenson and Stella Jones-Devitt who have also achieved Principal Fellowship through the TALENT scheme since 2015.
