Michelin-starred chef hosts pop-up restaurant in Hallam View

Max Fischer, the founder of Michelin-starred restaurant Fischer’s at Baslow Hall, is set to host a pop-up restaurant in Hallam View staffed entirely by students – and you could be one of the customers.

Max, whose restaurant has held a Michelin Star since 1994, will host ‘A Taste of Fischer’s’ on Thursday 30 March from 7pm. Guests will be able to sample a five course set menu with matched wines.

The event is a collaboration between Sheffield Business School, Catering Services and Max Fischer who has been a long-time supporter of the University and received an honorary doctorate in 2013.

The menu will be a simplified version of Max’s tasting menu cooked and served by the students under the Michelin starred chef’s watchful eye.

The set menu with wine will be priced at £45 and a £10 deposit is payable when booking.
