Job Title: Nursery Manager
Salary: £32,958 to £37,075 per annum, dependent on experience
We currently have an exciting and challenging vacancy for an experienced manager to lead the Nursery at Sheffield Hallam University. This is a varied role with the potential to provide real job satisfaction. The Nursery provides full day care for up to 74 children from age six months to five years and is rated ‘good’ in all areas by OFSTED.
Key responsibilities will include ensuring that the Nursery continues to meet statutory requirements (including OFSTED), leading and managing staff, ensuring health, safety and welfare arrangements are in place, developing the Nursery curriculum, managing the Nursery budget and planning for future developments.
Early Years Professional Status would be favourable, experience of working to an agreed budget and sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage is essential.
You will have a strong customer focus, the ability to relate well to others, excellent communication skills and good planning and organisational skills.
