Have you thought about living in a co-housing community?

On the Brink Co-housing Community has bought Brincliffe House, a wonderful old house in Nether Edge, and has received planning permission to convert it from offices into a series of living units. We intend to develop and foster a living environment in which members have their own individual living space and where there is also a communal space for the sharing of cooking, eating, gardening, meeting, relaxing and having fun together, as well as sharing with the wider community in a variety of ways.

We intend to develop a social and socially sustainable community which is multi-generational and based on companionship, ecological awareness and mutual respect for each other in all our diversity. We are at an exciting phase of our development where we are defining the community and designs for the buildings and grounds and discussing our visions for the project.

We still have some units available and are looking for people who are interested in the project to join us.  There are two quite large units available and two smaller units ranging from 63 m(£160,000) to 130 m2  (£325,000). The converted units in the old house should be completed by Autumn 2017 and the new units completed by early 2018.
