The Finance Directorate now offers fraud awareness training to all University staff. The aim of this session is to build awareness of fraud risks, to increase knowledge of our policies relating to fraud and to develop staff behaviours and skills to help mitigate potential fraud risks to SHU.
This training is available as an online e-learning module which is made up of five short sections. This is available to ALL staff and can be accessed at any point in time at the user’s convenience.
Finance also offer training on the following systems/processes:
- Ordering goods/services
- Budget management
- Fraedom purchase card management
- Staff expenses
- Staff travel
- Facilitator-led fraud awareness (available at the beginning of each semester)
