Job Title: Employability Officer
Salary: £25,769 to £31,656 per annum dependent on experience (fixed term for 12 months)
We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated and confident individual with proven team leadership skills to help manage a team through a period of reorganisation within a changing environment. Reporting to the Student Experience Manager and working in partnership with the academic employability team and the Student Support Officer for Placements, you will be responsible for the operational delivery of the School’s work placement and co-curricular offer.
You should have a commitment to excellent customer service, be proficient at planning and organising the work of a team as well as your own, and be able to multitask effectively. The ability to work to simultaneous deadlines whilst maintaining quality is essential, as is the ability to advise, negotiate with and influence a range of internal stakeholders. You should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and competency in a range of IT systems and tools including social media.
Knowledge of University employability strategies, including sandwich placements and employability initiatives, would be an advantage.
