From time to time, staff and students may receive suspicious emails from apparently reputable sources, which usually request confidential information regarding your financial accounts, loans, email accounts, or threaten imminent lock out of your account.
These emails usually contain a link prompting you to input your personal or financial details.
Always think carefully before clicking on a link of this kind or opening an attachment and never enter passwords or any other confidential information.
For advice about dealing with suspicious emails, please visit our IS&T staff intranet pages.
