The Facilities Directorate (FD) are raising money for their chosen charity, Cavendish Cancer Care, and there are 3 ways in which Hallam staff can help make a difference this Christmas.
Cavendish Christmas Cracker
A chance to win a bumper festive hamper, including everything you need for Christmas (apart from the turkey), from champagne to cranberry sauce! There are also plenty of other festive goodies for the runners-up. The winning tickets will be drawn on 16 December 2015 by one of the stars of Sheffield Theatres’ pantomime Aladdin. Each ticket costs 50p or a book of 10 tickets for £5; look out for FD staff selling these in your area.
Xmas fayre
FD will have a charity stall at the SHU Xmas fayre on 2-3 December in Heartspace. The stall will be open from 10am-3pm on 2 December and 8.30am-3pm on 3 December. Come and buy preloved jewellery, Christmas gifts or have a go on our tombola! The FD choir will also perform at 12 noon on 3 December. We will be selling limited edition packs of Cavendish Christmas cards priced at £4 for a pack of 10, with cards designed by local artists; these are also on sale on the University Gift Shop.
