The Highfield Adventure Playground in Sharrow is now 40 years old and has supported generations of children in having a safe, staffed, community based place to play. The HAP staff have started a project to revitalise the equipment in the playground and the children who use the playground have voted for a professional to come and help them build their very own ‘Cat and Mouse’ swing. We have to raise £5,000 to be able to do this and so have entered for the One Family awards.
