IS&T has invested in Office 365 for the whole University which means that from Monday 14 September all staff and students will be able to download a free copy of the latest version of Microsoft office (which can be installed on up to 5 devices). They will also have access to OneDrive for Business cloud storage (which offers 1 terabyte of file space) as well as the online and mobile versions of Office. This will make it easier to work on University files off campus.
Office 365 will not replace the suite of Google apps which staff and students can continue to access through our University account.
We will email all staff and students next week with details of how to access the download and start using Office 365.
