A £10m investment in our future – August Bank Holiday works

Construction is soon to begin on a £10m refurbishment of Sheaf and Eric Mensforth buildings to provide the very best in learning and teaching spaces, alongside a stunning new atrium which will create an impressive entranceway to the City Campus.

Works on the project will begin over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The main concourse access between the Sheaf and Eric Mensforth buildings will be closed and hoardings will be erected around the site.  Alternative access routes with new signage in place to direct people along these routes will be fully operational from Wednesday 2 September.

The other work that will be undertaken over the August Bank Holiday is the renumbering of the floors in the Eric Mensforth building (EMB) outlined below – all corresponding room numbers will be revised in accordance with the new levels in EMB.
