Changes to Procurement Regulations

The rules governing the University’s expenditure on supplies, services and works have changed. A new EU Procurement Directive was adopted in 2014 and has now been enacted into UK law as the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. These regulations replace the Public Contracts Regulations 2006.

There are more than a dozen areas where we need to take action to fully understand the implications of the new regulations and will need to amend our processes, procedures and documentation.
