Social Justice Week is a joint initiative between the Sheffield Hallam University’s Helena Kennedy Centre for International Justice in the Department of Law and Criminology, and the Department of Humanities.
Social Justice Week is a public enactment of the ongoing commitment that takes the form of a showcase event to promote and champion innovative activities and partnerships that have generated success, hope and inspiration. The event will bring together a diverse range of agencies, individuals and organisations linked by their commitment to the principles of social justice and who are coming together to disseminate what they have achieved and to re-affirm and build on these shared values and public commitments.
The week will include a range of presentations, discussions, events and exhibitions that will attempt to actively engage our local communities in understanding what we do around social justice and that will aim to inspire participation and engagement in future events.
