British Science Week – Public Lecture on Social Media

As part of British Science Week, Dr David Playfoot will be giving an interactive public lecture on the relationship between social media use and cognitive performance.  The opening address is to be given by our new Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof Liz Barnes.

This lecture is aimed at students aged 14-18 and their families and has been initiated to help raise awareness of the high quality research, teaching and facilities of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Politics.
