Aiming high and cycling to raise funds for Cancer Support

Dave Hayes from Learning and Information Services will be riding two sportives within two weeks of each other. The first, in April, is the 2015 Etape Loch Ness followed by the Etape Caledonia in early May. Both are fund raisers for cancer charities.

The Marie Curie Cancer Care Etape Caledonia is generally regarded as one of the UK’s leading sportive and each year welcomes over 5,000 cyclists to the beautiful town of Pitlochry, Scotland. With the 81 mile course taking in some of the most breath-taking views the Scottish Highlands, it will test Dave and his friends coming only two weeks after Loch Ness. However, although revelling in the festival atmosphere, Dave will certainly be looking forward to the finish line.

If you would like to sponsor Dave and help raise monies for two very important charities, you can reach him at D.hayes@Shu.ac.uk or you can donate directly on-line via JustGiving to;
