Wear your ‘woolly pully’ for charity and prizes

On Friday 12 December the University is encouraging staff and students to wear their woolly jumpers to work to raise awareness of keeping warm but also to raise money for Save the Children this Christmas.

Last year around 350 staff took part in Woolly Pully day, highlighting the need to reduce energy usage and costs both at home and at work by suggesting we all wear an extra layer before we think about turning the heating up. And because of the time of year, Christmas jumpers will be very welcome!

The Sustainability Team will award prizes to people in a range of categories including Best Homemade Jumper and Most Embarrassing Christmas Jumper – just pop your pictures on our Pass It On Facebook page to be in with a chance of winning: https://www.facebook.com/shupassiton

Save the Children is using this day as a fundraiser and if you want to donate you can do so by textingTEAMSHU1  to this number: 70050 to donate £2.
