Do you need something to make you smile as we enter autumn? Why not come to one of my flower arranging workshops and lift your spirits with beautiful seasonal flowers.
Thursday 25 September, 6-8.30pm: Make a trio of pretty posies in contrasting containers with late summer flowers. You will learn 2 different hand-tying techniques and create arrangements with a vintage look. A last chance to work with summer flowers this year!
Thursday 30 October, 6-8.30pm: Make a gorgeous hand-tied arrangement with autumn flowers. These will be presented in a Heron Cross (2 pint) jug which is decorated with a lovely autumnal design (retails at about £20) which will look great in the winter as well the autumn. As a bonus we will make a small Halloween arrangement in a decorated jam jar.
Workshops take place at my house in Millhouses. The groups are small (usually 3-4 people) and the emphasis is on having a good time as well as making something lovely. I provide all the flowers, containers and equipment. No previous experience needed. Workshops are priced at £47 but offered to SHU staff at £42.
