Last month, IS&T installed a tool on your PC to enable you to see the cost of the printing you have done. From next week, we’re deploying it in a slightly different way so that the information will display on your desktop by default when you log in.
A box on the screen of your computer will show the cost of all your University printing since April 2012. You will be able to minimise this box by clicking in its right hand corner – but it will reappear every time you log in. We hope this will encourage staff to think about the cost of the printing they do and whether there are cheaper ways of doing it.
