Each year our Careers and Employment team take part in the national search for Student Employee of the Year. The first stages involve us hosting our own search which culminates in a prestigious awards night, and then our winners go on to the national level. This nomination is a great addition to a student’s CV and there are also prizes to be won.
We’re looking for employers to nominate students who
- currently combine full time study with part time work?
- were employed on a part time basis at any point between 12 April 2013 and 17 April 2014?
All the categories this year are new – and there is an on campus and off campus award for each of the three categories:
- Step up to Leadership- for students who have demonstrated their ability to lead teams or projects
- Commercial Awareness – for those students who have made a big commercial impact, maybe improving profits or coming up with an enterprising new idea
- Above & Beyond Award – for anyone who goes beyond their job description to be the best they can be at what they do
