The University is in the process of updating its Access and ID Control system, as part of this project we have already begun rolling out new SHUcards and replacing card readers across our campuses. However, due to ongoing technical issues with the new card readers we would like to remind all staff to hold on to their old SHUcards for access purposes. It is still important that you also get a new SHUcard if you haven’t done so yet as this will enable you to use the multi-functional devices in your office.
While we are working towards the solutions for this project we would like to ask anyone leaving the University to hand in their old SHUcard, which we can recycle for access purposes until the project is completed. This can be done by leaving your SHUcard at the main reception at city campus for the attention of Nick Nelson.
