Get on your bike and give it a go!

Whether you’ve managed to stick with your New Year’s fitness resolution or not, Sheffield Hallam University is on hand to help you get back in the saddle.  Through our partnership with Sheffield Council’s CycleBoost scheme our staff and students can access the Pedal Ready programme which provides

  • Unlimited, free cycling proficiency sessions around Sheffield
  • Loads of support and advice from expert trainers
  • Beginner up to Advanced commuter training
  • Supporting safe cycling in Sheffield

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never cycled before or if you want to build your road confidence, our one-hour Learn to Ride’ sessions will give you the skills you need.
You’ll be learning indoors so you’ll be completely safe.

Bikes and safety equipment are provided plus you’ll be supported by qualified and experienced trainers while you practice.

You can attend as many sessions as you want until you feel completely in control on your bike and road ready.

Sessions will take place on:
Saturday 1 February, 10.30am – 3.30pm, 
Saturday 15 February, 10.30am – 3.30pm,
At Pearson Building (Sports Hall), Collegiate Campus
