Ghosts, ghouls, skeletons, vampires, witches and monsters are wanted for a Red Cross ‘Fright Night’ abseil on Sunday 27 October – but they need to sign up now.
The abseil will take place as part of Sheffield’s city centre annual Halloween party.
Up to 110 people from all over Yorkshire will jump from the top of the Owen Building and abseil 120ft to earth.
Entry to the event costs £10 and while there is no minimum sponsorship, the Red Cross’ expert fundraisers will help all participants every step of the way to collect as much as possible. Money raised help people whose lives have been devastated by crises and disasters both in Yorkshire and overseas.
No experience is needed – our trained team running the abseil are amongst the most experienced and will ensure your safety.
