IS&T has been made aware of an issue on the new iOS 7 operating system recently released by Apple for iPads and iPhones. The default web browser, Safari, does not always allow users to log in to SharePoint or the staff intranet.
As this is an issue with iOS, rather than with SharePoint, users are advised to download the free Chrome web browser from iTunes. IS&T is also investigating if there are any changes which can be made to allow access to SharePoint. Users of earlier versions of iOS and Android are not affected.
