At the 2013 November graduation ceremonies the University will award nine honorary doctorates – details of those awardees will be made public over the next few weeks. They are a varied group and this is because nominations are received from staff across the University.
Now is the time to nominate interesting and deserving people for the awards to be made in 2014. Nominations (from individuals, or from groups within directorates or faculties) should be sent by to Maura Sorensen, preferably by email at m.sorensen@shu.ac.uk or you can send your nomination by internal post to Maura Sorensen, Committee Support Officer, University Secretariat, Floor 2 Oneleven Building, City Campus. The closing date for nominations for 2014 is Friday 15 November 2013.
